Rick spent the first 20 years of his life on his family farm where he learned the value of hard-work and dedication.   Rick's successful and diverse career experiences range from the agribusiness, sales, marketing and management, to high school athletic coach and world champion athlete.

  • Awarded The Distinguished Service Award and The Chapter Member of the Year Award from NSA-OHIO

  • Served as President of the Ohio and National FFA Alumni Association

    Served on the National Council for Vocational and Technical Education in Agriculture

  • Served on numerous boards including Lucas County Agricultural Society and American Cancer Society

  • Father to an amazing son

  • Proclamation of Appreciation for dedicated service and leadership presented by Lucas County Sheriff Jon Tharp

  • Trained and completed 3 half marathons, 3 marathons, and an ultramarathon

  • 10 time National and 5 time World Champion drug free power lifting

  • Actively involved in raising funds associated with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, additionally was crowned Miss Relay 9 times. Yes, Miss Relay... if you don't know, you will have to ask!
